As the first Afrikaans TV soap for free-to-air viewers in decades, e.tv hopes to catch lighting with Kelders van Geheime and lure all of the SABC's former 7de Laan viewers over to the red letter channel from Monday 6 May at 18:00 with a sun-drenched, wine-farm set story filmed on location on a real farm near Franschhoek. 

From Monday evening, Plaisir, a storied farm founded in 1693, will appear on South African TV screens as the fictional Soetbatskloof wine estate.
