Mauritz Coetzee, director of IT Lec, an internet service provider in the Northern Cape where internet connections are still difficult, says that because Starlink does not have a licence to do business in South Africa, until recently IT Lec acted as a third party company that imported Starlink equipment on behalf of customers and managed the connections on their behalf.
